Restricted food and low-calorie diets will usually make you fatter and unhealthier. Diets are actually part of the problem, not the solution. Have you ever dieted and lost weight only to gain it back -with even more body-fat! Calorie restricted diets slow down your metabolism because they cause you to lose muscle weight instead of body fat. When you return to eating your typical diet you gain the weight back, only this time you gain the weight back as body fat. Did you notice your clothes fit even tighter at the same pre-diet weight?
